Funny E-Mail From the Premier's Office

I just received this:

From: "MacGrotty, Alysia PREM:EX" <Alysia.MacGrotty@gov.bc.ca>

Subject: Premier Christy Clark

Hello George,

I am contacting you to inquire if Similkameen News Leader would be interested in running a weekly or bi-weekly piece from Premier Christy Clark.

If you are interested, that would be wonderful.  We are interested in finding out how many words the piece could be and how frequent we could write in.

Thank you so much and looking forward to hearing from you,

Alysia

  1. hahahahaha....And it isn't even April 1!
Well, you could do it like a Dear Abby kind of thing....Dear Christy.....People write their letters to her and she can answer them. Although all the answers would be the same: "Thank you for taking the time to write to me. I really appreciate hearing from the people of British Columbia with their suggestions and ideas. Be assured we will strike a committee to do a thorough study of your letter. We won't actually be able to do anything about it, but we will spend lots of time and money studying it."

Ah Christy, it's past time to try to win votes from the folk out here. Your true colours have been seen.

    1. I only wish it was a joke, but it's legit.

I agree with you, though. A bit too late to win votes from rural BC.
