Interior Health welcomes new Acute Area Director for South Okanagan
Allan Sinclair, Vice President Acute Services for Interior Health, is pleased to welcome Lori Motluk as Acute Area Director for the South Okanagan effective June 27, 2012.
In this role Ms. Motluk will work closely with physicians and staff at Penticton Regional Hospital and South Okanagan General Hospital to ensure delivery of high quality patient care to residents of the South Okanagan.
Ms. Motluk has considerable nursing and administrative experience in acute care and community hospitals in urban and rural environments. She joins Interior Health from her most recent position as Executive Director of Clinical Programs and Chief Nursing Officer at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Committed to professional development and ongoing education, Ms. Motluk holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is also a member of the Finance Committee for the Academy of Canadian Executive Nurses and a professor with the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Manitoba.
Interior Health conducted a rigorous search to fill this position after Lorraine Unruh retired as Area Director in March.
